The PIEDMONT DIVISION would like to invite folks to Cartersville, Georgia for the SER 2020 Convention. Cartersville is NW of Atlanta off I-75. We will be holding all Clinics, AP Contest, Social, Banquet and Train Show at the CLARENCE BROWN CONFERENCE CENTER. This spectacular facility provides free parking, all on a single level, in a newly constructed state of the art convention center. The convention committee plans to make this a convention that is worth your visit to Cartersville, GA.
TRAX TO THE MAX II will be hosting a number of great clinics and layouts to visit in the surrounding areas. Along with the 2020 SER Convention, there will be fun outings planned for Non-Rail guests as well. We plan to have a Super Clinic on Friday evening from 7-9 pm with a clinician to be announced soon. Seating theatre style for 400 guests.
Along with the SER 2020 Convention, the PIEDMONT Division will be hosting a Train Show in the CBCC. Visit www.northgeorgiatrainshow.com to find out more about the train show.
We will be bringing in top-notch clinicians for our clinics for you to leave with a greater knowledge of this hobby. Our Layout Tour coordinator will have some wonderful layouts lined up for you to visit on your journey in and out. We are planning a visit to the TRINITYRAIL, GA Power Plant Bowen and possibly rail-served TOYO TIRE just up the road.
This year's banquet will be a banquet style serving but sit down dining. The menu will be Grilled NY Strips Steaks, Herb Crusted Chicken Breast & Penne Pasta Alfredo with Shrimp Scampi. For your sides, we will have garden salad, Red Bliss Potatoes, Green Beans, Three Cheese Macaroni, Vegetable Medley, Yeast Rolls and Cheesecake for dessert. Coffee and Tea will be served. Please plan to join us for this year's banquet. We will have a cash bar set up from 6-7 in the main lobby/Courtyard for beer and wine to enjoy prior to the beginning of the Banquet at 7. There will also be a drawing for products to be announced soon.

The SER 2020 Convention hotel is separate from the Clarence Brown Conference Center. The HAMPTON INN Cartersville will have rooms blocked for us at a rate of $159.00 per night + applicable taxes.
