Program Overview
- NMRA Conformance and Inspection Policy
  This policy is explained in Section Q-5 of the Corporate Policies and Procedures Manual.
- NMRA has had a Self-Certification program since 2006. The manufacturer is allowed to fill in the forms provided below, sign them and submit them to NMRA for a Conformance Warrant number. NMRA reserves the right to test the product at any time to ensure the product continues to conform to the NMRA Standards.
Submitting a Product
- How to Submit a Product for Inspection. A production sample of the product should be sent to the C&I Group, Standards & Conformance Department for inspection. Send an email to CIManager [at] nmra.org to get the most appropriate mailing address for the Inspector conducting the product evaluation..

Current NMRA Conformance Warrants

DCC Conformance Testing

To obtain a DCC Manufacturer's ID the manufacturer must demonstrate that they can produce a DCC product that conforms to all applicable NMRA Standards. Contact CIManager [at] nmra.org to arrange for testing. Prior to issuance of a Manufacturer's ID, the ID numnber 13 may be used.
